Gable Cottage has 3 bedrooms; a master with king-size bed, a second bedroom with a small double bed and a further room with bunk beds perfect for the children. The cottage oozes original charm with modern comforts, such as a cosy wood burning stove in the spacious lounge, free guest Wi-Fi, BT TV with sport package and Netflix. A useful utility room is accessed via the rear door with a washing machine and additional storage space.
Close to the coastal path, Gable Cottage is perfectly placed for guests to enjoy the many local attractions, including the bustling harbour and golden, sandy beach, boat trips to the Farne Islands for puffins, seals and an array of amazing birdlife and Seahouses Golf course which is open to visitors all year round. No trip to the area is complete without a walk to Bamburgh Castle and its stunning beach, plus Bamburgh village boasts a great range of independent shops and locally renowned places to eat and drink. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is just a short drive, as well as the world renowned Alnwick Gardens and Castle (of Downton Abbey and Hogwarts fame). Close by, you can access the fabulous, local seaside villages of Beadnell with its stunning bay for watersports and picnics in the sand dunes, Low Newton-by-the-Sea, Craster village for its pretty harbour, great seafood and coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle and all the other local attractions are all within easy driving distance throughout Northumberland.
