Beadnell village is set at the end of a glorious stretch of beach known as Beadnell Bay. The village’s harbour lies at the north end of the bay, with huge dunes of sand that stretches south for miles. Within the village, there are a couple of pub/restaurants (The Craster Arms and Beadnell Towers Hotel) and a welcoming café, serving good food using the best local ingredients and becomes a bistro by night!
Next to Beadnell village is the popular coastal resort of Seahouses, which is just a couple of minutes by car, or an easy walk along the coastal path (about 20 minutes). Here, you will find a range of friendly pubs, a well-stocked supermarket and other grocery shops, gift shops, restaurants and takeaways.
From Seahouses harbour, you can take a boat trip to The Farne Islands, the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles and they also have a large colony of Grey Seals.
If you are looking to dine out within Seahouses, there are plenty of places to go. As you would expect from a fishing town, you can enjoy some of the tastiest fish from the local fish and chip shop. There are many other types of cuisine within the village including various pubs, restaurants and cafes.
