Blue Barn is a beautiful barn conversion near Bamburgh. With plenty of cottage character, including exposed beams, hardwood floors and solid oak furniture, Blue Barn offers an excellent range of facilities for up to six lucky guests. The cottage is located in the pretty hamlet of Warenton, just 15-20 minutes drive from iconic Bamburgh Castle, its golden sandy beaches and Bamburgh’s popular village centre with its renowned restaurants, independent shops, local attractions and a great golf course. Nearby, you have a range of must-see places to visit and explore such as, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands, seaside villages such as Seahouses, Beadnell, Craster, as well as the market town of Alnwick - famous for its amazing Castle and world renowned The Alnwick Gardens. To the north and within an easy 25 minutes drive, you have the coastal village of Spittal, the beach and golf course at Goswick and the border town of Berwick upon Tweed.

This immaculately presented property will make a perfect holiday home from home for families and groups of friends with three lovely bedrooms, an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom, plus a modern family bathroom. There is an open plan lounge and dining area with a cosy wood burning stove overlooking the rear garden and there is also a garden to the front of the cottage with stunning views over open countryside and towards the glorious heritage coastline.

The cottage is ideal for enjoying the famous Dark Skies of Northumberland, for cyclists and walkers and there is trout fishing nearby too; there is plenty of secure storage for your cycling, walking and fishing gear. Not to be left out - Blue Barn is dog friendly too so, everyone can enjoy a well deserved break!

We had a great stay at Blue Barn. It was a fantastic base for us to visit the locations we were hoping to. Its situated in a lovely small hamlet and it was lovely to step out of the door to take the dogs for walks down quiet country roads. The facilities in the cottage were very good, and it has a well equipped kitchen. It was lovely to have a smalRead morel private garden for our grandsons and the dogs to enjoy. Hide

Lovely converted barn in a good location just far enough in the countryside but close enough to local shops and the coast. Nice views and can see the sea from the front of the house. To the back there is a nice enclose garden for kids and dogs to play in. Large kitchen and lounge/dining area was ample. Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Owners obviously trying to provide everything guests may need. Kitchen could do with a revamp. Garden is not enclosed or secure. We could not access any garden furniture.

Just had a weeks holiday at Blue Barn, lovely location very quiet but not far from the main road. There were four adults & three dogs in our party & we all had plenty of room. We had a wonderful stay at Blue Barn in May, the cottage is lovely and the photos dont do it justice. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. We had great weather and were able to use the outdoor furniture and the bbq which is provided. We were really grateful for the welcome basket Read moreon arrival after a long journey. Thank you to the owners of Blue Barn Northumberland for letting us stay at this beautiful barn. It had everything we could possibly need for a much needed relaxing stay. The comfort and cleanliness was fab and location great, just off the A1 and easy to get to explore beautiful Northumberland. We hope to return next year.

A lovely peaceful place, well located for tourist hotspots or remote beaches, been twice now, and both times well kept and in good order. Local shops in Belford, cosy place to hunker down when the wind blows.

Blue Barn is a great place to stay, ideal location for the coast. The rear garden is enclosed by a low stone wall, and is sheltered from the wind so would be a great little sun trap. This is a beautiful house. Really well equipped, comfortable, clean, warm. Beautiful location and not far from A1 for exploring the area. We loved it. Accessible shower but be mindful of a few internal steps if booking for a person with mobility problems.

Really well placed in an idyllic pictured hamlet, lovely walk from the door too and great garden. Looking a bit tired but lovely and clean and very spacious, we had 4 adults and 3 dogs and still was spacious.

Perfect place for all of us. We were a party of 5 adults, a lively toddler and a 5 month old baby. Blue Barn had everything we needed and we loved it. Very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons. A cosy property in a remote location. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lots to see and do in a 30 minute drive. Blue barn was well equipped (except for the towels which were only very small hand towels) and clean. Lawn could have done with being cut before we arrived as was overgrown.
