Really well placed in an idyllic pictured hamlet, lovely walk from the door too and great garden. Looking a bit tired but lovely and clean and very spacious, we had 4 adults and 3 dogs and still was spacious.

Blue Barn is a great house, in a fabulous location which is well resourced. We had a really enjoyable week as it is a great base to explore the fantastic Northumberland coast and countryside. Really appreciated the generous welcome pack, a lovely touch. Thank you.

Blue Barn is a tastefully furnished cottage in a quiet, peaceful location 5 minutes off the A1. The layout being L-shaped was useful for keeping our dogs in the hard surfaces living areas, separate from the recently carpeted bedrooms. The gardens front and rear were safe and enclosed. A cosy property in a remote location. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lots to see and do in a 30 minute drive. Superb cottage, very clean, comfortable and a great location to explore the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Absolutely wonderful week away. Everything you could possibly ask for. Comfortable, spacious, peaceful. Plenty of places to visit and dog friendly beaches Only issue was the enclosed garden. A very well presented property. Very quiet location where you can relax and unwind. You do need to travel for shopping so do have that in mind when you book. Holy Island, Alnwick and Berwick well worth a visit and not too far away. Would use this location again.

Lovely, idyllic location in a small hamlet. The cottage is large enough for 6 people but I wouldnt say 6 adults. Dog friendly too which is a plus for holiday stays. The main thing that we felt let down with was the poor housekeeping as we expected higher standards but I know not everyone will think the same. Lots of kitchen equipment including washRead moreer/dryer and dishwasher and a selection of DVDs to watch in the lounge. The sofa was too low for us but then again it might be ideal for others. Hide
