Beadnell has one of the most acclaimed beaches in the UK and is also known for its busy harbour and a range of watersports activities which take place all year round. This is a great base for exploring, not only the Beadnell area itself with its many coastal paths and its neighbouring seaside villages of Seahouses and Bamburgh, including the popular market towns of Alnwick (Hogwart’s Castle and The Alnwick Gardens), Rothbury (for Cragside House) and England’s pretty border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The whole area is simply beautiful and you could be a million miles away from busy, city life but is easily accessible, if you want it being only an hour from Newcastle and a little further from Edinburgh.
