Attracted by the picturesque photo of Coquet Cottage a friend and I (and 1 small dog) booked for a week. Difficult to find by the directions supplied so we asked people - down a narrow road and rutted track, a mile's riverside walk (or 5 mins by car) from Warkworth. Quite secluded, sharing a courtyard with 2 large, uninhabited buildings undergoing Read morerenovation. Quality fittings, but charmless. Bare white walls, minimum furniture, not thoroughly cleaned, dark brown towels. Disappointing. Hide
