Events for all the family this Summer in Rothbury

There are some great events happening in and around the Rothbury area this Summer, not to be missed! Great fun for all the family with lots to see and do.

Rothbury Street Fair – Bank Holiday Monday May 26th
From 10.30am to 4pm.

The Round Table is also hosting the 25th Rothbury Street Fair on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, in the village. This is an annual fixture on the Coquetdale event calendar and will see a variety of charity, craft and food stalls along the High Street as well as entertainment and more stalls along Church Street.
Rothbury Highland Pipe Band will also be on hand and there will be rides for children, face painting and much more.

Vintage Rothbury - 29th June 11am – 4pm

A classic family day out in the beautiful village of Rothbury set in the heart of rural Northumberland. Visit the many village art galleries, exhibitions, open studios and galleries. There will be a selection of vintage inspired and handmade stalls for you to peruse whilst listening to live music played throughout the day.

Enjoy taking a look at the Rington’s tea memorabilia which will be on display on the day. Activities for children running throughout the day include a treasure hunt around the village and for budding young artists there will be an art competition. There will be a vintage tea room on the day where you can sit and relax and enjoy the live music. After your tea and cake, visit our pop-up museums around the village and have your antiques valued by Anderson and Garland. Rediscover the joy of motoring at the vintage vehicles display raising funds for defibrillators across the valley.

Rothbury Traditional Music Festival

Rothbury Traditional Music Festival is a small, friendly, community, based music festival set in the heart of Northumberland in rothbury. Over the three days, there will be a free outside stage, craft stalls, childrens entertainment, music sessions, sing arounds, concerts, poetry, workshops, competitions, plus much more. An event not to be missed!

Rothbury Pipe Band World Tour
16 August 2014

The Rothbury Pipe Band will be doing a 'tour' of the the surrounding villages in the Coquetdale Valley in an old London Routemaster Bus to thank the villages for their support. Departing Rothbury at 10am.
