Rural Retreats Cottages
Deemed “the most tranquil county in England” by the Campaign to Protect Rural England, Northumberland is truly something special. Bordered by Scotland to the north and Tyneside to the south, this region is the least populated, least developed county that England has to offer, and it is for this reason that it has become such a popular destination for those who want to find some peace and tranquillity, but still want plenty to do. With a range of rural retreat cottages in Northumberland’s National Park near Rothbury and a cluster of properties near Blanchland and the Derwent Reservoir, we have properties surrounded by beautiful landscapes, ideal for walking and cycling or just somewhere to get away from it all.
Whilst There aren’t any supermarkets in Netherton Thropton or Rothbury, Rothbury does have a good selection of shops.
Supermarket Deliveries -Tesco and Asda both deliver to the cottages - the address for delivery is Netherton , NE65 7EY
