Whilst there aren’t any large supermarkets in Netherton, Thropton or Rothbury, Rothbury does have a good size, well stocked Co-Operative and a wide selection of shops including butchers, bakers and yes, even candle stick makers!

Head back to the A1 we have wonderful beaches from Warkworth to Berwick.
We recommend Newton by the sea, Embleton (Dustanburgh) Beadnell and Bamburgh beach.
