Property Overview
This cosy one bedroom cottage is the ideal getaway for anyone wishing to visit the historic fishing village of Seahouses. Located in the heart of the village Harbour Snug is only a stone’s throw from the harbour and a three minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants.
The front door leads into a well equipped open planning kitchen and living room area. The open plan living room and kitchen has a comfortable leather sofa and arm chair, an electric flame-effect fire and a flat screen television with DVD and freeview. The light and airy bedroom and bathroom lead off from an inner lobby from the living room. Double glazed throughout and with electric heaters this cottage is comfortable and cosy all year round.
Accommodation:
Living Room: Comfortable lounge with sofa, arm chair, flat screen TV with DVD and freeview, electric flame effect log burning stove, dining table with seating for two.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster.
Bedroom: Double bed with bedside table, lamps and wardrobe, DAB clock radio with docking station for i-phone and an ipod.
Bathroom: Tiled bathroom with electric shower over bath, washbasin and WC.
Please note: Due to its close proximity to the harbour, there is no allocated parking for this cottage. Depending on availability of space, there may be spaces in neighbouring Taylor street or in the other nearby streets. Failing that, the main car park in Seahouses is a five minute walk from the property and you can purchase a weekly pass from the Tourist Information Office in the Main Car park or online before your holiday. You can unload your car outside the cottage and then find a space.

Location:
At Seahouses you are literally surrounded by stunning scenery and spoilt for choice for things to do and places to visit. Within a short walk of the cottage are many attractions of Seahouses itself. The harbour is just around the corner and there are many pubs, shops and restaurants to choose from along Main Street.
The Farne Islands can be reached by regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour. Great for bird lovers and geologists.
The historic town of Alnwick is only 10 miles away where you will find a thriving, historic market town with something a bit special! Even if you are not green fingered, a visit to Alnwick Gardens is a must, where you can stroll around the stunning gardens and waterfalls. Harry Potter fans of all ages should visit Alnwick Castle (or Hogwart’s School) and relive some of the favourite scenes from the popular films.
The Heritage coastline is dotted with castles and villages and stunning beaches – ideal for walking all year round. The Cheviot Hills are only a short drive away offering superb views across to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Alternatively, a stroll along the coats to Bamburgh Castle (only 1 mile away) or a visit to Holy Island are both ideal for a family day out.
