Kittiwake Cottage, Seahouses

Sleeps 2

Location - Seahouses

Property Overview

This cottage is one of only a few remaining original stone built cottages in Seahouses. Built as a fisherman’s cottage in around the 1820s, it is full of character and charm. It is in a great location, being on a quiet cul-de-sac but only a stone throw from the harbour and only a short walk to the Main Street.

The cottage has a spacious lounge with two leather sofas, flat screen TV and DVD player, there is also a IPOD docking station. Taking centre stage is a beautiful multi-fuel cast iron stove which when lit adds to the romatic feel of the cottage. The flooring is real oak throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you are likely to need, including fridge, freezer, washing machine, over, hob, toaster, kettle etc. The double bedroom has been tastefully decorated and has an en-suite bathroom with a huge walk in shower and is furnished and decorated to a good standard. With heating provided by night storage heaters and a multi-fuel stove in the lounge, this is a lovely place to enjoy a well earned break whatever the season.
