The cottage was clean, fresh and appealing. The position of the property was good and the interior matched the photographs. The cottage is well situated and has a view of the sea from the living room - its nice to sit in the window and gaze at the tide coming in and out with a glass of wine. the cottage is compact but warm and well furnished. It was easily big enough for 2 adults and one small dog. For eating out we strongly recommend The Links Hotel and Bamburgh Castle inn - both in Seahouses and both are dog friendly. For excellent days out visit Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and all the beaches nearby. A lovely walk is from Seahouses to Bamburgh along the beach and Seahouses to Beadnell along the cliffs and dunes. Going further afield Alnwick and its nearby seaside village of Alnmouth are worth visiting as is Cragside.
