Highgarth Cottage is a spacious, semi-detached three bedroom cottage situated just two minutes walk from the picturesque harbour in Seahouses. The shops, restauarants and bars are all just a short walk away and the beach is only five minutes away. The property has gardens to front and back and patio area.
Highgarth has a relaxing atmosphere with everything you could need to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable. There are two lounge areas and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a well earned holiday at the seaside
Accommodation:
Bedroom 1 : A bright room with King sized bed, built in wardrobes, dressing table, and bed side cabinets.
Bedroom 2 : Two single beds with built in wardrobes, dressing table, and a bed side cabinet.
Bedroom 3 : Two single beds with wardrobe.
Bathrooms : Separate bathroom and W.C. Bathroom with bath and electric shower over, wash basin and heated towel rail.
Kitchen : Well equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, with separate freezer in pantry containing additional storage space.
Lounge: Comprising a three seater and a two seater sofa, coffee table, complete with digital TV and DVD.
Second Lounge/Dining Room : Oak table and chairs seating six in a bright extension with windows on three sides. Four seater sofa, coffee table, comfortable chair.
Rear glazed porch which is ideal for walking boots, coats and coming in from the beach leads out into the enclosed garden.
Parking: There is parking for one car at the side gate of the cottage.
Bed linen, towels and heating and hot water are included in the booking price. Please note: There is a refundable damage deposit required of £100 for this cottage.
Location:
You are two minutes walk from the beautiful harbour of Seahouses with boats to the Farne Islands and a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants on the front. There are walks along the cliffs in both directions and the local beach is a short walk away.
The heritage coastline has many castles and bays with stunning beaches which are ideal for families and for the more energetic walkers. The Cheviot Hills are nearby offering stunning views of Lindisfarne and the surrounding area.
Alnwick is a historic market town 10 miles away and a visit to Alnwick castle, the home of Harry Potter's Hogwarts school, is a must.
