Island’s View is an attractively presented, 3 storey property offering spacious accommodation for up to five guests in three comfortable bedrooms with two bath/shower rooms - ideally suited for a family or a group of friends. The house enjoys one of the most enviable locations in the ever popular harbour village of Seahouses. The beautiful beach is just a short walk, as are all the village shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee houses and so much more! The boat trips to The Farne islands are a minute from the property and Bamburgh, with its magnificent Castle and lovely village shops and restaurants, and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne are all just a short drive away.

Island’s View is set in a quiet courtyard a few meters from the harbour front and just one street back from the harbour wall itself. The balcony from the lounge offers wonderful views towards the Farne Islands (a must do boat trip!) and the iconic Bamburgh Castle. There is private, allocated parking for one car, free guest Wi-Fi and the house is dog friendly.

A great location for exploring the area. Lovely views across to Bamburgh castle and the Farne Isles. Well equipped holiday home.

Good location near harbour and car parking space a real bonus. Very clean inside with well appointed kitchen and lounge. Only downside is that the bedrooms were very small for 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, I think the beds must have been small doubles.

The property was not really large enough for 4 adults and a child. The second bedroom was far too small for a double bed. I have several bruises on my legs because of the wooden bed end as I tried to negotiate round the small space. No washing up liquid provided and not enough bin bags for the amount of rubbish generated. We did not have a blue recRead moreycling bin for the property and had to put this in other people's bins . The non recycling bin disappeared on the last day. Quite noisy as well. Hide

Prime position for the town and local pubs and the sea. Fantastic view over to the Farne islands and extremely comfortable and everything you need from home from home. Parking is ideal right under the house. We will return.

A small, modern, well appointed house exactly as shown in the pictures. Wonderful location close to the harbour and town. The unexpected bonus was seeing stunning views of the sunset over Banburgh Castle. I enjoyed my stay with one friend at Island's View. The view of the sea, the Farne Islands & beyond from the top floor was lovely. There was a decent amount of china, cooking pans, glasses etc. One comment for tall guests is that the double beds aren't ideal as they have a footboard that's above the level of the mattress when you're lying on it. I'Read morem 6'2" and my head and feet touched both ends of the bed. I slept diagonally as a result. If you are shorter, like my friend, it's fine Hide

We were blown away by our stay at Island View, the photos on the website only give a small idea of how fantastic the views are from the balcony - over to the Farnes and up the coast to Bamburgh, the sunsets were amazing! The cottage is well placed in Seahouses and is comfortable and and excellent base for exploring the area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area as well served by Restaurants, takeaway, local supermarket and the required Fish and Chip shops. Would stay again.
