There’s also a WC next door, completing the ground floor offering. Move upstairs to reach the lovely first-floor lounge with plenty of soft seating, a TV and an electric fire for added ambience. Both bedrooms, a double and a twin, can also be found on this floor. There’s an additional TV in the double bedroom for cosy movie nights in bed. Both rooms are served by a family bathroom which has a shower over the bath.
All of the delights of the Northumberland Coats AONB are within easy reach from Seahouses, so walk or drive out to find exciting things to do. Accessible via the coast path, Bamburgh (3.5 miles) is a splendid neighbouring village with an ancient cliff-top castle, a beautiful beach and village pubs for quality refreshments. Dunstanburgh Castle, another handsome castle with a pretty beach beside it, can be found 9.5 miles south. Here, you can enjoy the sandy shores of Embleton Bay and visit the pretty village of Embleton (both 8.5 miles).
