With wonderful views out to sea and golden Beadnell Beach moments away, this light-filled holiday home offers an ideal base for exploring the glorious North Northumberland Heritage Coast. Sleeping six guests, the detached property is perfect for a get-together of families or friends. Up to three of your four-legged friends are welcome too, and they can romp in the large, enclosed rear garden. Sheltered Beadnell Bay, less than 200 metres away, is a gorgeous expanse of sand, tailor-made for building castles, peaceful picnics, and adventurous water sports. A village shop and pub are within 0.5 miles, with splendid walks along the coast path from the doorstep.

Wake up to lovely views across the waves from windows to the front of this attractively furnished house. The lounge, with comfortable seating, plus an electric fire, and the bright dining room, each have patio doors opening onto a rear balcony with stairs to the garden. There is a compact kitchen, complete with a pantry, while upstairs are a family bathroom and three cosy bedrooms. Decorated in gentle neutral tones, they comprise a king-size and two twins. Outside, the garden has outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

Pets can play on dog-friendly Beadnell Beach, while novice surfers hone their skills at the resident water sports school. You are midway between two spectacular castles on this scenic coastline, magnificent Bamburgh (5.5 miles) and dramatic Dunstanburgh (9.5 miles). Towering above the village, medieval Bamburgh Castle is also the site of the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, commemorating the Victorian heroine who saved shipwreck survivors. Take a boat trip from historic Seahouses (1.5 miles) out to the Farne Islands, to see puffins and seals in this important wildlife sanctuary.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped. If I had to change anything , I would perhaps have the bathroom updated, and replace the windows with opaque glass. Otherwise excellent cottage and excellent position within Beadnell. I would definitely want to rebook.
