Take a big holiday to Otterburn. Located close to the Scottish border and near Northumberland National park, this fun property is the perfect place for a mixed group and their dogs to explore the beauty of the north of England. Spend the days hiking and biking, then return to a welcoming cottage and settle in for an evening of relaxing and making memories.

Enter the hallway and go through to the lounge/diner. This space is a wonderful area to spend time with your group, eating, watching films and chatting. During the daytime you’ll have a beautiful view of the garden through the sliding glass doors, and in the evenings make things cosy with the open fire. Continue to the kitchen, which is well-equipped, has a breakfast bar and connects to a sunroom. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, a double and a single, and a family bathroom. Head upstairs for a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and then go to the lower ground floor, where there’s a utility room and a twin bedroom. All of the bedrooms are comfortable and peaceful, so you can get a good night’s sleep. The property has an enclosed garden with a wooden fence, a lawn and charcoal BBQ, plus tables and chairs so you can eat outside on fine days. Guests can help themselves to fresh produce from the vegetable garden.

You’ll be surrounded by spectacular countryside. Northumberland National Park is just 1.5 miles away and full of wildlife, great walks and lovely spots. Kielderhead National Nature Reserve is 21 miles away, and also well worth a visit. For a little local history, take a trip to Black Middens Bastle House, 10 miles away. It’s a 16th century fortified farmhouse, and the surrounding views are gorgeous.

Great place Lots of room and so peaceful - all the equipment u need the kitchen is well equipped. It is a stones throw from shop and pub. Would definitely stay again
