Here at Cottages in Northumberland, we aim to deliver the best possible service to both visitors to the region and to holiday cottage owners. We own a number of properties in the region and have been successfully managing many others on behalf of their owners for the last six years. The key to our success is the passion that our staff have for Northumberland, and their intimate knowledge of the region (although we are still discovering new places to visit!), which enables all visitors to get the most out of their holiday.

The Team

Rick McCordall – Managing Director
The team is managed by Rick, who has worked in tourism marketing for over ten years and continues to invest in holiday cottages in Northumberland. ‘I think Northumberland provides an excellent location for a UK holiday or short break. The county offers something for absolutely everybody, whether you’re sporty, active, interested in history, wildlife, gardens or simply want a lazy peaceful holiday. I once heard a guest say that Northumberland has somehow managed to retain its character, history and unspoiled beauty which is rare in the UK. Angela Mazingham - Sales Manager
Angela is responsible for developing our cottage portfolio in locations in and around Northumberland and works closely with our cottage owners to ensure we offer our guests the best possible holiday experience. Angela can also advise anyone who is looking to buy a holiday property on suitable locations, potential rental income as well as advice on how to best prepare the property for letting. ‘We have lots of lovely holiday cottages to offer in some great locations and the feedback we receive from guests is fantastic. Amanda Lambert - Marketing Coordinator
Amanda looks after the marketing of our cottages and ensures that our website is updated with details of all new properties. She keeps a keen eye on what’s happening in the Northumberland area so that she can let our guests know, through our website, what’s on in the Northumberland area; ensuring there is something of interest for everyone during their holiday. She also works with some of Northumberland’s local tourist attractions to secure some great discounts for anyone who stays with us. We are also on Facebook, You Tube and Twitter and have our own Blog which Amanda keeps up to date with interesting stories, reviews and pictures of attractions in and around Northumberland. Siobhaun McCartney- Sales and Marketing Coordinator.   Siobhaun comes from a successful sales environment and  like the rest of our team, holds providing excellent customer service very close to her heart. With her easy approach and first hand knowledge of our properties, Siobhaun will be happy to help you with your enquiries and manage your booking process for you. She is great at offering advice on which of our cottages might best suit your needs and budget and will be happy to help you find the perfect holiday cottage for you and your family. Karen Madden - Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Karen's background is based in the travel agency industry for 15 years so, she comes with a wealth of experience in dealing with booking holidays to match her customers' needs and wish lists. Nadine Hollingsworth - Finance and Accounts
Nadine manages our payments and accounts. Payments for bookings can easily be made online, the system is quick and efficient and we are here to help ensure that your booking from start to finish is a smooth transaction" Nadine also works closely with our cottage owners to ensure they receive their income on time each month and deals with any queries they may have. Customer Service Team

We work alongside a team of dedicated cleaners who understand how important it is for the cottage to be immaculately clean and prepared for your arrival.

We also have locally based caretakers who can assist you with any information you may require for your holiday and they are on call during out of office hours for any emergency that may arise unexpectedly during your stay.

In addition, we work with local tradesmen and women such as plumbers, electricians and joiners etc. who are all on stand-by to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
